The Vibrational Symphony Park was inspired by the archetypes researched from Ann Hamilton's "Event of the Thread" and creating a design for a none-site. The archetype that was brought forward in the designs is the use of participatory experience supplemented with auditory and tactile stimuli.
The none-site was in the same shape as our final project to influence the final design. The none-site was characterized as an art exhibit, which led to the creation of spirals of talking tubes, similar to what you would see on a playground, to continue the archetype. The intent is for people to communicate with each other but not know who they are talking to because of the varying heights of the platforms and confusion about where the tubes ended.
